Privacy policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026. Ayamo is run by Aya Taleb in Washington, USA. Questions: hello@ayamo.dev.
The short version
- We only collect what we need to make your clips and run your account.
- Your pictures and clips are private. Nobody else sees them unless you share them.
- We never sell your data and we show no ads.
- We don't use your pictures or clips to train Ayamo unless you clearly say yes.
- You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
What we collect
- Account: your email. If you sign in with Google, also your name and profile picture from Google.
- What you make: the pictures you upload, your prompts, the clips Ayamo makes, and your ratings and notes.
- Safety records: when a picture, prompt or clip is checked, we keep the result, the reason and the safety level you chose (Basic only, or Basic + Advanced), so we can review mistakes and keep the service safe. We also test our own safety model on Ayamo's servers: it looks at the same picture and prompt, never decides anything, and only its verdict is kept.
- Photos of real people: you can animate photos of real people, but never to sexualize or undress anyone, and never to make realistic fakes of public figures.
- Credits and payments: your balance and history. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Usage: counts of page visits and clicks, stored in our own database. No outside analytics, no tracking cookies, and no recordings of your screen.
Who helps us run Ayamo
These companies process data for us, only to run the service:
- Supabase: sign-in, database and file storage.
- Modal: the computers that make your clips.
- OpenAI: the safety check on pictures, prompts and clip frames.
- Anthropic: rewriting prompts into calm motion, the safety check, and "Surprise me".
- Cloudflare: delivers the ayamo.dev website and email.
- Google: only if you choose "Sign in with Google".
- Stripe: only if you buy credits.
AI helpers (OpenAI's safety check and Anthropic) get only the picture or text needed for one task, with no account, name or session attached, and they don't train on it.
Kids and teens
Ayamo is for people 13 and older. Basic safety is always on, and Advanced safety, which keeps it safe for teens, is on by default. Children under 13 may only use Ayamo through a parent's or guardian's account, with the parent in charge. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep things
- Your pictures, clips and account stay until you delete them or ask us to.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your pictures, clips and account data within 30 days. We may keep payment records as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: email hello@ayamo.dev.
- Delete any clip from your history at any time.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date above. If a change is big, we tell you in the studio first.
